Join our innovative team at Trelleborg Industrial Solutions as a Business Applications Owner and become the driving force behind optimizing and integrating our critical business systems. Your mission will be to manage and enhance a range of enterprise-wide software, including Document Management systems, Product Information Management (PIM), HR systems, PDM, SolidWorks CAD, and more. As the system owner and primary point of contact, you will play a crucial role in aligning these systems with our organizational goals and ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflows. You will collaborate globally, engaging with teams across the globe, with occasional international travel to align with project and team needs.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Drive the standardization, vision, roadmap, and strategy for assigned business applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective utilization across departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, collaborating with business users, IT, vendors, and third-party partners to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide training and support to end-users.
  • Oversee system configurations, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring data integrity, application performance, security, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Identify areas for process automation and system improvements, managing relationships with software vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, licensing, and SLAs.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to application maintenance and improvements, working with IT security teams to assess and mitigate risks, and maintaining documentation related to system processes, configurations, and policies

What You Will Bring

As the ideal candidate, you will bring proven experience in administering enterprise-wide software systems, along with strong technical skills in configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting business systems (Document Management systems, PIM systems, HR platforms, PDM, and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks). Your experience in designing and implementing workflows for document and business process management will be crucial. Excellent communication and training skills are essential to support cross-functional teams, and both spoken and written English comes naturally to you.

You thrive in collaborative, multi-cultural environments and have strong communication skills. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities enable you to manage multiple projects effectively and successfully. We would be thrilled if you also bring experience in manufacturing or engineering industries, along with familiarity in ERP systems and their integration with business applications. If you also have knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), certifications related to enterprise software systems, and an understanding of low-code solutions within the Power Platform, then we believe you will be the perfect fit for our team.

This role can be based anywhere in Europe, either from one of our global sites or remotely.
