Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and market penetration within Oil & Gas sector. This position demands a passionate and driven individual with a strong technical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets. Travel around the region is expected.

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and profitability objectives.
    • Develop relationships with key accounts to support and grow current business, generate new business opportunities.
    • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
  • Customer Management:
    • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, providing technical support and resolving customer issues.
    • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Market Intelligence:  Provide timely market feedback, customer trends and information for marketing
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless customer service and project delivery.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, its applications, market dynamics, and key players in Singapore.
  • Experience in selling to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals, or bearings is highly advantageous.
