Who are we?
Trelleborg Navigation & Piloting develops navigation and positioning systems that help large vessels safely enter ports and navigate through canals. As our growth continues, we are looking for several developers to join our team, contributing to the development of new features and optimizing the existing setup.


The Role

As a software developer, you will work in an agile environment where tasks are distributed collaboratively, and regular status updates are held. The products’ data foundation consists of geographical and real-world sensor data, processed in real-time. Therefore, your primary coding language will be C++, utilizing tools like MQTT. Since the functionality is cross-platform, you will also work with OpenGL, QT, and similar technologies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and programming of applications for iOS, Windows, Mac, and Linux
  • Setting up tests and conducting code reviews
  • Contributing to defining the future direction of development

Your Profile
You are curious and enjoy experimenting with different solutions until you find the right one. You are responsible and take initiative in your tasks.

You have a relevant Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.

You will be part of a team that values a great work environment. We have foosball matches during lunch breaks, game nights, Friday bars, conferences, and much more.

Additionally, every Friday, time is allocated for working on a personal project outside of daily operations, allowing you to explore new technologies or enhance your professional skills.

Since Trelleborg is an international company, there are opportunities to participate in customer visits if you are interested. These could include trips on large vessels, conferences worldwide, a visit to the Panama Canal, or other locations where Trelleborg operates.
