IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will lead projects primarily for our Enterprise Information Systems teams to ensure our systems can meet our evolving business needs.  This role plays a major impact within Trelleborg through ensuring the successful completion projects and as such is a highly visible role within the organization as this person will interact with colleagues at multiple levels across the organization.  This person will manage projects through the Trelleborg Project Management Model which provides a common project management language across all our business units and the countries we operate within. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from start to finish with some guidance of the Senior IT Project Manager and functional area managers
• Develop implementation plans and associated documentation
• Ensure effective communication across the project team and key stakeholders according to TSS Project Management Methodology, project management principles and best practices
• Efficient usage of the provided software tools to manage the project, such as Clarity, JIRA, SharePoint, Teams, etc. to track the status and progress of projects
• Deliver assigned projects on time and within budget
• Document scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals
• Provide effective leadership to manage and organize the members of the project team
• Identify and resolve conflicts within the team
• Drive issues to resolution using escalation where appropriate
• Proactively manage changes
• Identify potential risks, and develop effective response plans
• Monitoring and management of sub-contractors and external vendors, and monitor capital expenditures
• Work with various business stakeholders for software validation and the various project phases
• Ensure that quality expectations and principles are met during the execution of the project in conjunction with our quality and compliance teams

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Technical IT, Business IT or similar – ideally with a focus on IT Project Management
• Certification in Project Management (PRINCE2, PMI, etc) preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Project, Broadcom Clarity PPM, JIRA and other software tools for project management
• Some understanding of ERP-systems such as Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft, SAP, etc.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in one other TSS language (e.g., German, , Spanish, Portuguese etc.) preferred

• General understanding of IT functions, IT systems and IT support functions
• Ability to work within and navigate multiple times zones
• Ability to work independently and to carry a high amount of responsibility
• Self-motivated with ability to coordinate projects and report status and progress
• High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and Microsoft Teams
• Strong presentations skills with ability to present to high level leadership
• Willingness to travel and work effectively in a remote situation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong organization and facilitation skills
• Good analytical and numeracy skills
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges
• Ability to assist the leadership in large, complex (business applications) initiatives is a must
• Experience in delivering IT enabled business value with an ability to manage a small to medium sized end-to-end project
• Talent in fostering a positive team environment, driving standards, consistency, and continuous improvement across the IT function
• Experience and track record of working in project organizations or teams as a project coordinator or project assistant

Travel Requirement:

• Up to 25% travel both domestically and internationally as dictated by project need
