Summary of the role
The Staff Accountant/Analyst is a pivotal role in our finance team, contributing to the preparation of the of the financial transactions, preparing reports, reconciling general ledger accounts and assisting in analyzing the financial results, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and company policies.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyzes accounting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Uses automated systems to input data, reconcile general ledger accounts including bank accounts and respond to inquiries.
- Support payroll and reconcile all payroll related accounts and assists in the review of the payroll computation.
- Oversee fixed asset reporting including IFRS leases
- Reviews cost and variance trends; researching significant variations
- Reconcile all intercompany accounts.
- Supervise CAPEX requests, tracking spend and capitalize asset as required.
- Performs data management tasks in BPCS.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring of operating forecasts based on budgets. Review significant variations and analyze operating impact.
- Assist in analyzing the monthly sales and cost reporting, including key KPI’s.
- Assists other employees with information and/or analysis when requested.
- Demonstrates understanding, support and consistent application of our Vision, Mission and Core Values
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
- 2+ years supporting a manufacturing business and shared services environment
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
Desired:
- 2+ years using ERP systems
- CPA Certificate preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

- Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger, Manufacturing Accounting.
- Ability to travel, less than 10%
