About the Job

An experienced project manager will manage Project Peacock, which includes building the facility and setting up greenfield operations in Halol

Effectively coordinate people and processes to deliver Project Peacock on time and ensure it meets the desired results. You will serve as the primary contact for all aspects of the project's organization and timeline, and you must provide clear guidance on each team member's responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering projects on time within budget and scope.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to BU management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensure the adherence of processes of various compliance
  • Ensure Health & safety of Project Peacock

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Educational background BTech/MTech Structural, preferably in the fields of construction project management
  • 8-10 years of proven working experience as a project manager in the manufacturing/engineering sector; prior experience of building a greenfield manufacturing site and expertise in fabrication
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Certified Project Manager (e.g., PMP / PRINCE2)
  • Ability to lead and motivate; build commitment within team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving with the ability to analyze and make decisions
  • Experience of cross-organizational teamwork with an international mindset

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Project Engineer to join the Commercial department.


As a Project Engineer, you will manage key new customer projects from RFQ to SOP stages, coordinating across all stakeholders both internally and externally.


Key Responsibilities:


•Managing new item requests for quotations. Coordinating with our customers and sales offices, as well as internally to offer the best service to our customers.
•Evaluating technical and manufacturing feasibility of new customer projects on various levels, from tool conceptualization to part submission.
•Involved in Process Flow decisions.
•Handling new customer projects in close collaboration with manufacturing and handing off smoothly on Start of Production.
•Building knowledge of end user applications and the markets they compete in, developing internal market intelligence for some of our most important customers.
•Developing the manufacturing knowledge of the sales organisation, including travel to our various sales offices across the globe.
•Handling ad hoc projects as required.
•Track and follow-through time plans and various project stakeholders involved in all the TSS Malta pipeline.
•Effectively communicate tooling and manufacturing concepts to the customers - both virtually and in-person.
•Compliance with the requirements of the ISO14001 environment management system and the ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system.
•Responsible for reporting any hazards / near misses / incidents that you’re aware of immediately to the area management.



What we are looking for:


•Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s level in Engineering or Management considered an asset, but not compulsory.
•1-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
•Confident and cross-cultural communicator.
•Advanced level of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point)
•Experience using Engineering design packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Siemens NX or other.
•Project Management (theory and practice) knowledge.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English.
•Ability to work under own initiative and with a 'continuous self-improvement' attitude.
