As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead engineering activities and support day to day operations in the manufacturing area/s.

Du som söker tjänsten har en bakgrund som Mekaniker och gärna med erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter. Då det förekommer en del tunga lyft bör du ha god fysik. Tjänsten som är på heltid, planeras till en början vara en 6 månaders visstidsanställning som kan övergå i en tillsvidareanställning. Skiftgång är 3-skift samt beredskap när tillräcklig erfarenhet av vår verksamhet uppnåtts.

KVALIFIKATIONER
Vi söker dig som har gymnasieutbildning inom Fordons/Mek/El eller motsvarande och har hunnit jobba några år. Erfarenhet/kunskaper inom hydraulik, pneumatik och svetsning är meriterande. Vi ser positivt på om du har erfarenhet från industri/producerande verksamhet. Du innehar B-körkort. 

Som mekaniker hos oss kommer du i närkontakt med huvuddelen av den tekniska utrustningen på företaget och får en unik inblick och förståelse för hur saker och ting fungerar. Participate in, and continuously improve, the facility’s certification programs (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS9100D, etc.) to achieve plant KPIs.

Work OT as required, including weekends as needed.

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines in support of TSS Denver’s Vision–Mission–Values (VMV). This is an entry-level position requiring minimal CNC skills.  This position requires following standard work instructions of each required specification ensuring quality production of parts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
• Collects and records Statistical Process Control (SPC) data as required by inspection methods for each order to ensure quality standards are met.

Operates the Optical Comparator and other measuring tools to ensure correct dimensions of machined parts.

Receives and reviews production orders for machining jobs; requires reviewing the blueprint and materials for accuracy.

• Oversees machine operation throughout the production run to ensure part conformance.

May be required to run more than one machine simultaneously per standard work.

Cross trains in other areas as needed.

Education and Experience

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of six months CNC machining experience or completion of a trade school machine shop program.  Should have previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing a plus.

The Value Stream Supervisor (VSS) is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations on the production floor in their assigned value stream in support of TSS Denver’s Vision–Mission–Values (VMV). • Accurately pick material for the job, document the inventory and document appropriately

• Run parts per engineering specifications

Summary of the Role: 

As an Injection Mold Processor, you will set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. You will monitor production, inspect parts for quality, troubleshoot process issues, perform basic machine maintenance, and help ensure production, quality, and safety standards are met. Working closely with the manufacturing team, you will support efficient operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Issue and dry materials for production jobs.
• Set molds and tooling using an overhead crane.
• Process and operate injection molding machines using scientific molding techniques.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Trim gates, remove flashing, and perform part marking as required.
• Troubleshoot molding processes and perform minor machine maintenance.
• Operate a forklift to move molds, materials, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement efforts and production goals.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:30am to 4:00pm 

Education and Experience: 

• 3+ years of plastic injection molding experience required.
• Experience or familiarity with scientific molding processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastics processing principles and techniques.
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane for mold changes.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Experience using measuring tools to inspect molded parts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.

As a Shift Technician, you will support day-to-day maintenance activities, including fault finding, preventive maintenance, project support, and continuous improvement initiatives across production equipment and systems. As a shift technician, you are the primary key person during morning shifts, afternoon shifts, night shifts, and weekends for plant stability and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the department head or engineer regarding tasks and assist in additional departmental activities as required.

• Act as a primary key person during afternoon shift, night shift, and weekends for plant stability.

Summary of the Role: 

The Operations Manager has responsibility for the sites production operations working closely with Engineering, Quality, Commercial Teams, and customers to deliver high quality parts to our customers. This role oversees department managers to ensure departmental goals are established and achieved, maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing cost.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Operational Oversight: Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure production and processes run efficiently.
• Team Leadership: Managing and leading the operations team to ensure they are motivated, productive, and aligned with company goals.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the General Manager and other senior leaders to develop and implement operational strategies.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocating resources to maximize productivity while controlling costs.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing and monitoring quality control processes to meet established quality standards.
• Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, and then leading initiatives to achieve these objectives.
• Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for operations, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating operational risks, whether related to safety, compliance, or other factors    that could affect business continuity.
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Performance Metrics: Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and       efficiency of operations and to identify improvements.
• Customer Satisfaction: Focusing on exceeding customer expectations by delivering products or services on time, at the expected quality, and within budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Communication: Providing regular updates to the General Manager on the status of operations and challenges.

Education and Experience:

Required: 

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field
• 7+ years Operations experience
• 5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with Lean Sigma methodologies

Desired: 

• MBA or master’s degree in related field
• 10+ years of Operations Management experience

About the Job:

At our TSS Cadley Hill site, we manufacture hand-built Aircraft, Engine, and Airframe seals using a wide range of silicones, fabrics, and retaining metals. The moulding process involves hand fabricating silicones, fabrics, and metallic items into a part-specific mould tool, which is built to precise manufacturing specifications and loaded into a compression press to cure under pressure and heat, forming the final product.

Om vores stillinger i produktionen
Vores produktionsafdelinger arbejder med alt fra blanding af råmaterialer, formning af rør og drejning af tætninger på CNC-maskiner til vask, rens, kvalitetstjek og manuel efterbearbejdning af emner.

Arbejdsopgaver i afdelingerne:

Mould – rørproduktion
I Mould arbejdes der med vores råmaterialer i pulverform. Her blandes råmaterialerne i store spande, hvorefter pulveret, under højt tryk, presses til rør i både større og mindre formpressere. Efter rørene er blevet presset, sendes de til sintring, hvor de færdigproduceres i vores ovne. Arbejdsopgaverne kan inkludere tungere løft. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Mould består af:

• Afmåling og blanding af råmaterialer i pulverform
• Indstilling og montering af formpressere/kerner
• Manuel påfyldning og overvågning af formpressere
• Afmontering og manuel kvalitetskontrol af færdigpressede rør
  

Drej – drejning af tætninger
I Drej arbejdes der videre med de færdigproducerede rør, som her ved hjælp af CNC-maskiner drejes til vores højteknologiske tætninger. Vi kører alt fra enkeltstyksproduktion med mange omstillinger til højvolumenproduktion, hvorfor der er variation i det, der produceres. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Drej består af:

• Drejning af tætninger i PTFE og andre plastmaterialer
• Tilpasning af programmer og værktøjer på CNC-drejebænke
• Kvalitetskontrol ved brug af manuelt måleudstyr og visionsmaskiner
• Elektronisk registrering til dokumentation af kvalitetskontrol
• Bearbejdning i PTFE-materialer
  

Efterbearbejdning – visuel inspektion, efterbearbejdning og pakning af ordrer
I Efterbearbejdningen foregår den sidste del af produktionsprocessen. Her foregår meget af arbejdet ved manuel og visuel inspektion af tætningerne, men nogle emner kan også have behov for særlig efterbearbejdning i form af vask eller ved, at der laves særlige spor eller huller i tætningerne. Når produkterne er visuelt kontrolleret, skal de pakkes efter ordrernes anvisninger. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i Efterbearbejdningen består af:

• Manuel og visuel inspektion af færdigproducerede emner
• Vibrationsafgratning samt vask og rens af emner
• Fremstilling af spor og huller i tætningerne
• Overvågning og betjening af automatiserede maskiner
• Pluk og pak af ordrer
  

QC – kvalitetssikring af produkter før, under og efter produktion
I Quality Control er kvalitet af højeste prioritet. Her kvalitetssikres vores produkter både før, under og efter produktion, og det er QCs ansvar at sørge for, at vores produkter overholder de kvalitetsstandarder, vi lover vores kunder. QC har en bred kontaktflade, og du skal derfor trives i en udadvendt rolle samt være god til at samarbejde og kommunikere med kolleger på tværs af afdelinger. De overordnede arbejdsopgaver i QC består af:

• Stikprøvekontrol af emner i alle størrelser og godkendelse af færdige produkter
• Kontrol af Notch, Cut og afsyrede produkter
• Assistere produktionen med måleteknik m.m.
• Udarbejdelse af manuel og elektronisk dokumentation
  

Vores produktion kører døgnet rundt, og du vil derfor få mulighed for at arbejde i fast skift fra mandag til fredag på enten dag-, aften- eller nathold. Det er dog sjældent, at vi får ledige stillinger på daghold. Uanset hvilket hold du bliver en del af, sørger vi naturligvis for grundig oplæring og løbende udvikling, så du bliver godt klædt på til opgaven.
