Summary of the Role:
A Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting competitive intelligence, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making in business development efforts. They leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess market potential, and contribute to the development and execution of targeted marketing strategies within the manufacturing sector.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop operational tool to support automation of processes and customer service tasks with the use of python, SQL, and Power BI
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the manufacturing industry.
Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitors' products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
Data Modeling and Forecasting: Utilize statistical models and forecasting techniques to analyze data and predict market trends.
Sales Analytics: Analyze sales performance metrics, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate the financial impact of business development initiatives, including return on investment (ROI) analysis.
Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development of business development plans and marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer data to identify segments with unique needs and preferences.
Technology Utilization: Leverage technology tools and analytics platforms to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to gather information, understand business requirements, and ensure alignment.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business analysis within the manufacturing industry is required.
