Summary of the role 

The Marketing Executive will create a wide range of content and marketing materials that capture our business values and unique offerings. And will articulate these into collateral, content, and messaging, and package them for external communications to the market and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for content creation and all deliverables.
  • Lead marketing efforts for the PA Infrastructure to achieve regional goals for brand/product awareness, aligning with customer and Trelleborg values, and sales objectives.
  • Create content for printed materials, social media, webinars/seminars, and exhibitions in line with the marketing plan for the PA Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with PG directors, sales managers, and design engineers to understand various segments, target groups/stakeholders, and solutions/product offerings.
  • Analyse market, customer segments, and stakeholders to understand their information and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, manage marketing projects/campaigns and their stakeholders, and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Objective: Increase Trelleborg's awareness among specific potential clients and prospects, indirectly building the pipeline in existing and new regions.

In this role, the Marketing Executive will play a crucial part in creating the marketing plan alongside PG directors and the MD, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Set Targets and Report Progress: Define clear targets based on the marketing plan and regularly report on progress and achievements. 
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with sales and design engineers to understand products, solutions, and target stakeholders. Develop Marketing Materials: Create brochures, social media posts, PR activities, videos, seminar/webinar content, and exhibition materials based on the marketing plan and ad hoc opportunities.
  •  Plan and Execute Campaigns: Plan, brief, and follow up on social media activities and marketing campaigns globally or for specific segments/regions with clear objectives and evaluation methods.
  • Support Sales & Marketing Strategies: Execute marketing activities and content creation for PA Infrastructure.
  •  Manage Marketing Assets: Oversee existing marketing materials (brochures, presentations, whitepapers) and develop new collateral for products, services, and market entry.
  • Align with PA Strategy: Ensure marketing activities align with PA Strategy and capture customer values in messaging and value propositions.
  • PR and External Communications: Assist in PR activities, external communications, and customer outreach.
  • Organize Events: Plan and manage trade shows, seminars, webinars, and regional marketing activities.
  • Update Marketing Collateral: Maintain and create new marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, data sheets, videos, and animations.
  • Monitor Communications and Growth Initiatives: Develop, deliver, and monitor communications and marketing activities in select segments and geographies.
  • Support Campaigns and Lead Management: Assist in campaigns, customer contact strategies, outreach, lead management, and demand generation.
  • Maintain Digital Assets: Ensure digital assets are up-to-date and relevant on digital platforms.
  • Market Insights: Gather market insights and intelligence from target segments.
  • Social Media Management: Handle PA social media posts and content creation for PR and social media campaigns.
  • Campaign Development: Assist in developing campaigns and commercializing new products and services.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current marketing theory and practice in the B2B environment.
  • Market Research and Analytics: Support market research, data analytics, and market reach objectives.
  • Provide Business Updates: Regularly update the business on marketing activities within the business unit.

Education and Experience

  • University or Higher Vocational Education in Marketing or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar regional role
  • Experience in B2B marketing and content creation within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be preferable
  • Working with agencies and external providers is essential
  • Experience in setting up and leading new marketing strategies and projects from scratch is essential 
  • Strong business understanding and a focus on improvement
  • Excellent social skills (both written and verbal) at all business levels (internal & external)
  • Proficient Dutch (nice to have) and English and with the ability to display confidence, energy and creativity, with a flair for innovation
  • Computer proficient with excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills with ability to modify technical content for a wider audience
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Key Interfaces and Stakeholders

  • This role reports directly to the Managing Director and supports the PG Directors , Sales Managers and engineering managers globally within PA Gas Transfer.
  • Other External Stakeholders include direct customers, engineering companies and asset owner, Marketing/PR/advertising agencies
  • Other Internal Stakeholders: Corporate, BA & BU marketing, PG/PA directors, Sales Managers, Design (technical) Engineers, Customer Service/Project Management

Geography to cover and travel requirements

  • Limited travelling required – 10% max.

Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking a Global Market Development Director to join their team.  This position will be located in Plymouth, MN.

This role will be responsible for the overall marketing of the global business area, including market research, segmentation, and go-to-market strategy. Ensures brand awareness and directs marketing communications. Leads a team to develop strategies, identify market segmentation gaps, value pricing drivers, recommend acquisition targets, and collaborate with sales to target the right customers, segments, and applications for organic growth. Serves as the key contact for marketing communications, reviewing and recommending improvements annually to enhance effectiveness and reduce costs, potentially establishing a dedicated team for Trelleborg Medical Solutions (TMS). Operates within a matrix organization supporting the Americas, Europe, and Asia, with all three regions as stakeholders of the Marketing Team. 

Tasks and Responsiblities: 

MANAGEMENT 

Develop, present and maintain the annual budget for the marketing organization
Publish month-end report of department developments, successes and project status
Research and secure professional development seminars and activities for team
Create a culture for creativity, inguinity and entrepriurealship

MARKETING STRATEGY AND EXECUTION

Develop executethe Marketing Strategy for the BA with a 3-5 year time horizon
Align the market-wide product launch process with Innovation, R&D, Manufacturing, and Sales to ensure success.Develop a business case to support marketing strategy execution; includes supporting other functions (Manufacturing) business case development
Works in conjunction with sales management to ensuresales is given direction on most attractive segment niches and applications, along with potential customers for success

Provides input on NDA and other legal documents to ensure no conflict with strategy execution

Competitive analysis and benchmarking, inclusive of manufacturing elements of our competition
Market segment analysis with future trends and targeted customers
Lead development
Development of an industry network

BUSINESS ANALYSIS

PRICING

Establishes pricing, price targets, prices lists in collaboration with segment responsibile and product manager, with BU Leader approval (standard products)
Assists in identifying value price levers for new product launches, new capabilities and older capabilities where margins are not acceptable

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Marketing communications to build brand awareness globally through and collaborates with global communications and Trelleborg group; this includes digital, print, tradeshows, adverstising, etc.
Responsible for branding of product; market segments; etc., where a unique position brings value.  Determines value of acquired companies brand, recommends path forward
Collaborates on internal communication needs for the BA

LEAD MANAGEMENT/CRM

Provides lead management from multiple sources such as tradeshows, market research and other industry event participation
Utilizes CRM to manage leads and uses CRM to drive other marketing related strategies and activities

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Management
• MBA a plus
• 10 years + business experience
• 5-10 years in a marketing position, with proven track record for developing organic growth
• Experience working in a global organization in collaboration with many functions

Travel requirements: 40% domestic and international 

Salary information: $150,000 and up based on experience
