Deine Aufgaben:

  • Selbstständige Content-Erstellung und Gestaltung der Kommunikation an Mitarbeitende auf Deutsch und Englisch
  • Bearbeitung und Übersetzung von Informationsmaterialien im Bereich Strategiekommunikation für Mitarbeitende weltweit
  • Koordination von Videodrehs, Nachbearbeitung und Publikation auf internen Plattformen wie SharePoint
  • Pflege und Aufbau von Info-Pages für Mitarbeitende

Dein Profil:

  • Aktuelle Einschreibung in einem Studium mit Schwerpunkt Kommunikation, Marketing oder Organisationsentwicklung
  • Sehr gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across two manufacturing sites. This position offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with site leaders while remaining hands-on to support the employees.  Acting as both a strategic partner and trusted advisor, you will develop and execute people-focused initiatives that align with business objectives, foster employee engagement, and drive organizational performance.
As a key member of the HR function, you will provide guidance on a wide range of HR matters—including employee relations, conflict resolution, compliance with employment laws, and talent management—while actively supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. By translating business needs into actionable HR strategies, you will strengthen leadership capability, enhance workforce motivation, and continuously improve the quality and value of HR services delivered to the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with Local leaders to align HR strategies to support business needs.
  • Talent Management: Identify, attract, recruit, develop, and retain top talent. Build local brand presence to create a pipeline for long term recruitment efforts.
  • Onboarding: Develop local onboarding program and conduct the program for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and policy adherence. 
  • Performance Management: Assist in the administration of performance management processes.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations. 
  • Workforce Planning: Participate in planning the workforce, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning. 
  • Training Needs: Identify training needs for teams and individuals, work to develop training programs.
  • Belonging: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace. 
  • Employee Engagement: Work with local team to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.  Participate in employee engagement programs, surveys and initatives.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure the sites comply with employment laws, regulations, and ethical standards. 
  • Data Analysis: Utilize HR analytics to generate reports and insights that inform decision-making.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with employees and leaders, addressing their HR-related needs and concerns. 
  • Succession Planning: Work with HR Manager to develop and execute succession plans to ensure leadership continuity. 
  • Legal and Ethical Conduct: Uphold high ethical standards and integrity in all HR activities. 
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, conduct investigations when needed, provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.

Summary of the Role: 

Administers designated areas of Human Resources consistent with corporate policies and the collective bargaining agreement. Contributes to an employee relations climate that provides for a stable and productive workforce.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  1. Anticipate staffing needs and manage all hourly recruitment efforts to include: proactively identifying recruiting options, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, scheduling subsequent interviews, administering pre-employment tests, and extending offers. Proactively contact candidates to keep them engaged, informed and organized.
  2. Plan, facilitate and oversee all aspects of onboarding and orientation for all new hires.
  3. Lead and manage the attendance points tracking system and write-ups in accordance with the site attendance policy.  Ensure the system remains current and accurate. 
  4. Conduct investigations and objectively provide guidance to supervisors regarding disciplinary action in accordance with Trelleborg policies/procedures and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  5. Respond promptly to employee issues and escalate when necessary.
  6. Administer various activities designed to achieve and sustain a high level of employee morale.
  7. Maintain employee records, data and reporting with the highest degree of confidentiality.

Education and Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office

 Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a multi-shift union manufacturing environment.
  • HRIS systems experience (UltiPro preferred)
  • PHR, and/or SHRM certification

Competencies: 

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in and environment of constant interruptions
  • Ability to gain the trust, respect and confidence of employees and managers
  • Ability to conduct training in order to communicate various HR topics to large groups of employees (40-50 employees at a time).
  • Ability to proactively identify and implement potential continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience maintaining strict confidence regarding sensitive, protected and/or confidential information
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement
  • Knowledge of HR principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local legal requirements
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

Travel: 

  • Minimal travel is expected, but may be required up to 5%.
