Summary of the role

We are looking for SAP Business Analyst Data Migrations to join our IT Innovation Campus at Bangalore location. The position will be responsible for highly competent analysts to provide support in the implementation and ongoing operation of hosted SAP Data Services for internal customers to the Global Data Center with a particular focus on SAP S/4 HANA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze legacy data structures, define source-to-target mappings, assess business requirements, and create mapping rules for SAP Data Objects
  • Collaborate with the business teams to gather requirements, to drive data cleansing and data enrichment activities
  • Develop robust and reusable programs with SAP Data Services (BODS), Migration Cockpit, LSMW
  • Good functional knowledge in any SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, FICO
  • Participate in planning the data migration cycles considering data object dependencies, ensure adequate test scenarios, and support the creation of corresponding cutover plans
  • Oversee data migration execution, implement performance optimizations, conduct root cause analysis, perform post-load evaluations, and generate reports
  • Develop technical specifications, prepare data mapping documents, create application manuals, and training materials

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in an IT-related discipline, e.g. Information Technology, Informatics, Business, and or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with SAP data migration projects, ideally S/4 HANA, using professional ETL-Tools such as BODS, LTMC, SAP Fiori apps, LSMW
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Migration Object Modeler and the design of custom migration objects
  • Good understanding of SAP data structures and business processes, in Sales, Logistics/Production, and/or Finance/Controlling
  • Advanced SQL and SQL Script knowledge, and at least basic programming experience in ABAP and debugging
  • Experience in SAP Data migration implementation for master and transactional data from legacy ERP systems into SAP S/4 HANA
  • Experience in ABAP coding and debugging is beneficial.
